LATERAL IMAGING
Lateral imaging is a way of seeing the world. Our sensation, emotion, and conception become linked. Lateral imaging views the world as a field of coin-cidental events, each affecting all others, everything connected in an intimate way. Each piece is organized as a web of inter-active modules. The foreground and background are determined by how the audience focuses their attention.

SELF SIMILARITY
Close examination allows us to understand that all things are constructed of patterns— the air, the water, the earth. Our breath, our blood and our bones constitute a body that is a microcosm, a replication of the world order. The distinction between inside and outside, however, is totally artificial and leads us away from the acceptance of reality as a totality, let alone a singularity.

UNITY
The bottom line is to show how we are totally integrated with our world, not standing outside looking in. The patterns of nature are the same as the patterns of life in general, and the patterns of our intellect determine our view of the world, i.e. our world creates us so that we can create our world. There is no reality beyond this interaction. All is one.
